Just Be(e) is an eco-fantasy musical for the whole family in the line of animation classics, featuring a toe-tapping orchestral-pop score, sporting a large female cast.
It deals with the urgent themes of human impact on nature, and how one person taking responsibility can change the fate of a whole Queendom.
THE STORY
Life in an industrial Hive is constant work! The irresponsible young bee Melissa cannot stand it.
She has an idea: if I became Queen I could lead an existence of pure luxury!
Melissa claims the crown, but she gets more than she bargained for… Soon, her evil advisor, the Beezir, is orchestrating secret attempts on her life!
Melissa flees her home and, once on the outside, learns a different version of her own people’s Herstory… She realizes the Beezir has enslaved her people, lying to them about the nature of the World.
Can Melissa learn her own happiness is tied with that of her Queendom, before her friends are lost to her forever?
